2. Data Collected & Purpose

Registration

Name, email, company, role — for identification and service provision (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)

Live demo request

Name, email, company (optional) — to unlock the demo view and for a possible follow-up if there's interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in responding to inquiries)

Usage data

Strategic queries, generated vectors, scan logs — for providing the analysis service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)

Technical data

IP address, browser type, access timestamps — for security and fault diagnosis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

3. Server Location & Data Transfer

Account and web data are processed and stored in Germany at Netcup GmbH (Nuremberg data center). For the AI-assisted analysis, the content you enter is transferred to our processors Anthropic (USA), Google (USA) and Mistral AI (EU) – based on data processing agreements and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for the transfer to the USA. These providers do not use the data for training purposes.

4. Storage Period & Pseudonymisation

Personal usage data and strategic queries are automatically pseudonymised after 24 months (Art. 4(5), Art. 32 GDPR). Registration data is deleted after contract termination and expiry of statutory retention periods.

5. No Third-Party Disclosure

Your data is not sold to third parties or used for training external AI language models.

6. Your Rights (Art. 15–22 GDPR)

  • Access to stored data (Art. 15)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • Erasure (right to be forgotten, Art. 17)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Data portability incl. full export of counselview_anchor.json (Art. 20)

7. Cookies & Tracking

TheCounselView uses only technically necessary cookies (session management, authentication). No marketing, tracking or analytics cookies from third parties are used. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar services.
